Executive Assistant

Job Description

The executive assistant provides advanced administrative support to company executive leadership.

Job Classification

Non-exempt, Full-time 


  • Provides high-level administrative support and assistance to executives and/or other assigned leadership staff.
  • Performs clerical and administrative tasks including drafting letters, e-mails, memos, invoices, reports, and other documents.
  • Arranges travel and accommodations.
  • Schedules and attends meetings on behalf of executives, taking notes and recording minutes.
  • Receives incoming communication or memos, reviews contents, determines importance, and summarizes and/or distributes contents to appropriate staff.
  • Performs virtual office tasks including maintaining records, and ordering supplies. 
  • Performs additional duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Exceptional attention to detail, communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Excellent time management and collaboration skills.
  • Project management skills.
  • Ability to function well in a fast-paced environment.
  • Extensive knowledge and experience working in a virtual office environment.
  • Extremely proficient with Google Office Suite, Slack, HubSpot or similar software with the ability to learn new or updated software.
  • Personal Effectiveness/Credibility.

Supervisory Responsibility

This position has no supervisory responsibilities. 

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and/or related field preferred.
  • At least four years of related experience required

Work Environment

This job operates currently in a virtual environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

Physical Demands

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Opening file cabinets, bending and standing as necessary.
Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
